Garment dye is an artisanal process in which color is added to a sewn garment. The process leaves the pieces with soft handfeel and a washed out look. 

Batches of clothing are washed in industrial machines where dyes & natural enzymes are added in by skilled personnel. Each color is specially formulated in a lab and the production dyes are mixed & prepared load by load. 

As each load of garments is slightly different, so too is the final color & feel of each garment dye load. 

The singular, artisanal nature of the process creates subtle differences from garment to garment which adds to the unique character of each piece we create. 

Note that any garment dye style will always be open to shade variations from piece to piece and this does not constitute a damaged or faulty product.
